Fantastic & Fun France
My country that I researched on is France. France is in Europe. I really enjoyed learning about the education in France. They go to school on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and they have Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. I’m sure that's what you wish we have at our school! They also start school at either 8:30 or 9 and end at 4:30 or 5. I would not want to end that late so I’m happy that our school ends at 3! France schools have a 2 hour lunch break! How unfair!? They are required to study english just like how some of us are required to take Spanish or French. Also I learned that if the prime minister and the president are from the same party the prime minister won't have as much power. I thought that was very cool because I thought that the president always has more power. They also have many fun tourist place that tons of people visit. For example the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, and The Arc de Triomphe. If you ever visit France you should go to one of those places.
That was an amazing blog post. It is interesting that the prime minister might not have a lot of power if he and the president are from the same party! I love the structure and the opinions you gave.
ReplyDeleteWow! France seems really amazing. Though schools in France start a half hour to an hour after ours, they need to stay 1-2 hours later then we do. I can't imagine coming home from school so late! Also, it is really cool how if the prime minister and the president are in the same party, the prime minister has less power. I think this helps keep the government fair and just. In the end I think France seems like an amazing country and if I visit I will be sure to go to the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower!
ReplyDeleteI loved your blog. France seems such a great place to visit. I can not believe they start at 8:30 or 9 and have a 2 hour lunch break!! That is crazy. I liked how you opinionated your blog so we can see your reactions through all of this amazing stuff. I would have like to see more pictures. Overall you had a great blog.
ReplyDeleteFrance seems cool! I would like to see either the Louvre or the Eiffel tower. I wonder why schools have 2 hour lunch breaks. That seems crazy! I also think it's interesting that a lot of iconic fashion brands and designers originated in france. I really like how you set up your blog, overall you had a great project.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog!! there so lucky they get Wednesday off I wish we did because that's the second worse day of the week. The Louvre is so cool I think it's so weirdly shaped. I think you should of added more pictures. Overall your blog was really great!!
ReplyDeleteFrance is a really cool country. I wish I didn't have to go to school on Wednesdays and had two hour lunch breaks. I hope I can go to the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower someday, they look cool. I thought your blog was really interesting and I hope I can travel to France someday.
ReplyDeleteFrance has too many good spots to visit and the best food ever. I've been there before and wish I could go again! After listening to your presentation I realized how lucky you are if you get to go there over summer, spring, or winter break. This was a great blog and I wish we had two hour lunch breaks and wednesdays off of school! That's not fair! You helped me understand everything about France so thank you.
ReplyDeleteFrance is such an interesting country! I think it is unfair how they only have to go to school for four days a week. I wish they had that here. Just like France, Jamaica has a prime minister, but on the other hand they do not have a president. The prime minister is the head of the government in Jamaica. France seems like a very cool place to visit especially with the Eiffel Tower and The Louvre. In Jamaica it is very popular for people to visit their beaches. Great blog and presentation!
ReplyDeleteI really liked your opinions because they were very relatable! I think it was cool that the prime minister and the president of France are from the same party. I've been to Paris, France when I was younger and I thought that I wanted to visit there again because I don't remember that much stuff. I'm sure that I will go see the Eiffel Tower!!
ReplyDeleteI loved you blog! It was so interesting and cool! It's so unfair that they get Wednesday off! I would love to have only four days of school! Just like France, Kenya has many tourist attractions! Now that I know some good places to visit France, I'm sure if I go their I will go to those places! You had an amazing blog and presentation!

ReplyDeleteI loved your presentation. I learned many things about France. In economy I learned that the government is a republic and the parliament is made up of a National Assembly and Senate. I learned in economy that France makes most of its money off of tourism and the Eiffel Tower is a very famous monument to visit. In daily life I learned that kids in France only go to school four times a week and that they are required to learn English. Finally in arts I learned that the Louvre is a very famous art museum and it holds 70000 pieces of art in it. Also in arts I learned about the different designers and fashion in France. I really enjoyed your pinterest I thought you presented everything very well.
