Unique Ukraine

Hello I didn't see you there! I am glad you are reading my blog. My blog is about the amazing country of Ukraine, which is located in the continent of Europe! I really enjoyed learning about this country. I learned about two types of food. One is called the Syrniki. It is similar to what we know as a pancake. It looks so good!! There also served as dessert or for breakfast. The other type of food is Fitto. It is usually a Ukrainian snack. Fittos are light flavored rolls with cheese. Yum! Also I found out that the president of Ukraine is Petro Poroshenko. Before Petro Poroshenko was president he was a politician, economist, and a businessman. He also found a candy company Roshen, which grew to become Ukraine’s largest candy manufacturer. I wish I can go there. I know what you are thinking "Wow! They have all this cool stuff they must be a rich country!". Well......that is where you are wrong. Ukraine's economy struggles in many ways. There economy went down when they split with the Soviet Union. When the Soviet Union ruled over them, they owned many of its farms, factories, and business. Now I know what you're thinking now "Oh no that is terrible I feel so bad for that country" Well you are right this time. I hoped you enjoyed learning about Ukraine!!

I know my blog was amazing! To learn more about Ukraine press the link https://www.pinterest.com

  1. Ally, I really liked that you picked Ukraine for your country. I think it is a great place to discuss, especially with all the turmoil going on with Russia. The pancakes also look fantastic :). I can't wait to hear what you present in class!

  2. I loved your presentation. your country was so interesting. Italy and Ukraine have some things in common for example, they both have a president instead of a king and queen. I also think its so cool that the president used to be a candy worker. over all great job.

  8. Nice job! Ukraine and Jamaica are very different. For example with the government, Ukraine has a president in charge of their country, but in Jamaica, the "president" is the prime minister. Also, Jamaica has a better economy than Ukraine, because they haven't recently been ruled by another country. Great blog and presentation!

  12. Great job! Ireland and Ukraine are very different. The government, economy, and language are all very different. Even though the countries are very different, there are also some similarities between the two countries. Some of these similarities include the religion and the education. In the end, I learned a lot from your presentation.
